Friday Favourites
Blog
Love:
- The
Clueless Girl posted a second round of
blogging tips
which I found really useful.
- I've
been reading a lot on the commute to and from work, and I'm always
looking out for new things to read.
"books that changed my life"
from Divine Obscurity gave me a few things to add to my list.
- Makeup
Savvy shared some of her
beauty confessions
and I saw a few I related to. Rather tempted to do my own now!
- Clumpy
lashes suck,
how to get clump free lashes
from Notes By Nicola should help fix that.
- If
you remember my Youtubers post you'll know I really love Michael
James' videos. This week Ellie Jayden posted
an interview she did with him.
- If you're planning on heading to a festival this
summer, a) I'm super jealous and b) you might want to check out
this awesome waterless wash kit
over at Zombies Wear Eyeliner
- Subscription
boxes intreague me, especially the beauty ones, but I never know
which I should go for if I take the plunge. If you're in the same
boat then
this rundown of monthly subscription boxes from the UK
from The Tattooed Tealady should help give you some direction.
Other
things I've been loving this week:
- Please
consider backing
Death and Her Neighbours.
It looks like an amazing story, as well as being a great way of
raising awareness about mental illness and the stigmas attached to
it.
- Solid
perfume. I bought one from Geek Chic (as part of a massive haul, post
coming soon!) and now I just want to buy all the scents. So easy to
transport and use!
- Stamping.
The nail art kind... I got one of Born Pretty Store's $0.99 plates on
a whim and not unlike the solid perfume thing, I am now hooked. So
many gorgeous designs, with images and patterns I could never manage
to draw freehand in my life! Yep, I can see a lot of money being
spent...
Those blogging tips were really interesting! Liked the rest as well!
