Friday Favourites

Did you know this is my favourite post of the week to write and compile? It is!

Blog Love:

  • I've tried Alcoholic Ginger Beer once before (free tester in a local pub!) and quite liked it. So this Crabbies Strawberry Lime Ginger Beer reviewed on Foodstuff Finds sounds like a delicious treat to keep an eye out for – esprecially given my propensity for Koppaberg and Rekorderlig's Strawberry & Lime variants.
  • I really adore this gorgeous bright and dark look Celestial Crow Crash from Luna over at Toxid Lotus. The colours just play off each other so well (and her brows are always so on point, I am jealous).
  • NSFW warning on the photo, also possible trigger warning for weight/body image. Still, I feel that the damages of being called fat is really important post over on the Blogilates blog to read.
  • This post on how to get out of a creative rut from Sam over at Tiny Paint Pot is a brilliant one to save for later, I plan on using some of the ideas any time I feel stuck with makeup (such as round about now!).
  • I love these gorgeous photos of waterfalls, caves and bridges from Kaylah at The Dainty Squid, I'm so jealous of all the beautiful places she explores.
  • 14 ways to love yourself now from Gio at Beautiful with Brains is possibly the fastest save I've done on a post all week. Read it and try some things yourself.

Other things I've been loving this week:

  • Bi Erasure is an important but barely discussed topic, Geeking Out focuses on it's prevelance in the mainstream media in this video
  • NSFW but totally hillarious The Hawkeye Initative draws male comic book characters in the poses that many of their female counterparts are subjected to.
  • Another list I need to read and memorise, how to stay focused at work

  1. The damages of being called fat post is amazing! The photo is so striking and reminds me of me. I had a best friend who had such a skim stomach that didnt have any rolls and her legs were so skinny, I remember always wanting to cut my thighs off when I was younger.

    Thanks for sharing.
